December 12, 2019, marked a tragic day for Kenya as two buses operated by Modern Coast collided, resulting in the deaths of over 5 people and injuring many more.
Following the devastating accident, the National Transport and Safety Authority (NTSA) has revoked the operating license of Modern Coast buses.
According to NTSA Director General George Njao, the authority has been closely monitoring the company's bus services after receiving disturbing reports that some of their drivers were reckless and lacked road safety awareness.
