Published on December 11, 2019, Kalonzo Musyoka, the leader of the Wiper Party, has dismissed claims that he is planning to join forces with Deputy President William Ruto ahead of the 2022 general election.
According to Kalonzo, the allegations are mere political propaganda and he has no plans to work with Ruto.
'I have heard that I am planning to join forces with DP Ruto, I want to assure you that these are mere rumors, I know there is a plot to link me with President Uhuru Kenyatta and I know they will not succeed, if there is anything, let them ask me directly,' Kalonzo tweeted.
Former Machakos Senator Johnstone Muthama had earlier promised to facilitate talks between Ruto and Kalonzo to ensure they work together.
Meanwhile, Ruto is optimistic that he will win the support of President Uhuru Kenyatta in the 2022 general election.
