On December 11, 2019, HMD Global, the manufacturer of Nokia phones, made a significant entry into the Kenyan market with the launch of the Nokia 2.3.
The phone was unveiled in Kenya just six days after its launch in Cairo, Egypt.
The Nokia 2.3 boasts a range of impressive features, including a dual camera with 'Recommended Shot', which helps in selecting the best picture.
According to Gopher Ogembo, HMD Global's senior business manager for East Africa, the new gadget offers two years of Operating System (OS) upgrades and three years of monthly security updates at an affordable price tier.
Mr. Ogembo further emphasized the phone's industry-leading Artificial Intelligence (AI) capabilities, large screen, and signature promise of two-day battery life, making it an ideal choice for those who rely on their smartphone as their primary screen.
The Nokia 2.3 also features a large 6.2-Inch-High Definition (HD) display with high resolution, as well as mid-air backflip, family portrait, and AI-powered features such as 'Portrait Mode' and low-light imaging.
