On December 9, 2019, the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) arrested two wanted criminals in Likoni, Mombasa County, following a tip-off from members of the public.
The two suspects, Abdallah Rashid and Brian Ochieng, both 18 years old, were believed to have been terrorizing residents in the area.
According to the DCI, detectives received information that a group of six armed youths had assembled in an incomplete building in preparation to wreak havoc on members of the public.
During a search, detectives recovered two pangas, two slashers, one sword, and one metal bar from the building.
The suspects are set to be arraigned in court as the search for the ones who escaped continues.
