On December 11, 2019, Bishop Philip Njoroge appeared before a Nakuru court, where he denied charges of forging land ownership documents.

According to allegations, Njoroge had forged documents that led to a court order barring Francis Njoroge and his family from accessing their 4-acre piece of land in Subukia in 2016.

Chief Magistrate Josphat Kalo ruled that the accused be released on bond of Ksh. 200,000 or a cash bail of Ksh. 100,000.

The case will be mentioned on Friday.
