On a chilly winter evening in 2019, a small act of kindness from Dr. Jeff Otieno Ouma and his family would change the life of an Amazon delivery driver, Kareem Earl Reed III, forever.

Every year, Dr. Jeff and his wife Kathy Ouma leave out snacks for delivery drivers who bring packages to their home, including bottled water, soft drinks, Oreos, and crackers. The gesture was a simple one, but it would bring immense joy to those who received it.

Over the weekend, an Amazon driver who had been on the job for just three months approached their door, unaware of the surprise that awaited him. As he read the sign inviting drivers to help themselves, his eyes widened with delight, and he broke into a happy dance, captured on the family's security camera.

The video, posted by Kathy on her Facebook page, quickly went viral, garnering 17 million views and over 12,000 shares. People all over the world were inspired by the family's kindness, vowing to share snacks with their delivery drivers this holiday season in the hopes of eliciting similar joy.

Dr. Jeff Otieno Ouma and his wife are no strangers to kindness. The previous year, they had conducted a free medical camp in Rarieda constituency, treating over 800 people, with Dr. Jeff being one of the leading participants.
