Google Calendar has finally caught up with its web counterpart, introducing a long-awaited feature that lets users move events across calendars.
According to Android Police, this update has been a game-changer for users who rely on Google Calendar to manage their daily activities.
With the new update, users can copy and duplicate an event, enter the edit interface, and reassign it to a different calendar. This feature has been a missing piece in Google Calendar's mobile app, and it's now available for users to take advantage of.
As Android Police noted, 'This is much more convenient for those times when plans change or you mistakenly created an event on the wrong calendar.'
The update is still a server update, so users may need to clear their cached data and force close the app to get it. Alternatively, updating to the 2019 release of the Google Calendar application is an easier way to access the feature.
Other notable updates include the ability to enable dark theme on devices with Android N+, which enhances battery saving and reduces eye strain.
