On a visit to Kenya, American singer and actress Selena Gomez kept a low profile, avoiding the media spotlight despite her popularity.
According to a tweet by @Stained_Rep on December 10, 2019, Gomez spent a week in the country doing community work, giving to charities, and funding the construction of schools.
During her stay, Gomez collaborated with the WE Organization, a global charity and educational partner, to visit schools under construction.
WE's international development model, WE Villages, aims to achieve sustainable change in communities through adaptive and effective solutions.
It's worth noting that Gomez had previously met with Kenyan rapper King Kaka at the Cannes Film Festival in May, where she announced her involvement in his latest movie project.
