Chelsea manager Frank Lampard expressed his desire to strengthen the team's attack in January, following the departure of Belgian forward Eden Hazard to Real Madrid in the close season.

On Tuesday, Chelsea secured a spot in the Champions League's last 16 by defeating Lille 2-1 at Stamford Bridge. In a post-match interview, Lampard stated that he would consider all areas of the team for improvement.

However, he acknowledged that the loss of Hazard, a key player in scoring and creating goals for Chelsea in previous seasons, would be a significant blow. Despite this, Lampard emphasized that the team has found ways to remain competitive and that signing another striker would not affect the confidence of younger players like Tammy Abraham, who has scored 13 goals for the club this season.

Abraham's performance has been impressive, and Lampard expressed his faith in the young player's abilities, stating, 'I don't think it is a concern at all because they are here to stay, I truly believe in that. I believe in the quality of all the young players here.'

Chelsea's next match is against Bournemouth in the Premier League on Saturday.
