Kenyan singer Nyota Ndogo found herself in a chilly situation after her Danish husband kicked her out of their home for wearing a traditional African Dera.

According to reports, Nyota Ndogo had asked her husband to dress in a Dera, a custom in Africa, but things took a turn when she was asked to do the same.

She was left with no choice but to spend the night in the cold, a situation she described as 'baridi hapa nje ndio yanishinda' (the cold outside is what's defeating me).

However, Nyota Ndogo believes that an extra hand or mind would be helpful in aiding her to achieve her mission of convincing her husband to let her back in.

She took to social media to share her ordeal, stating 'lakini hii baridi hapa nje ndio yanishinda ngoja nikabembeleze kwa dirisha ilikua matani tu sijui nimtag munisaidie niingie ndani' (but this cold outside is what's defeating me, I'll try to convince him with a joke, maybe he'll let me in).

Her fans on Instagram couldn't help but laugh at her situation, terming it a 'dangerous' way to deal with her husband.

One fan joked 'Babu wawatu akitongozwa sijui uta ambia nn wazungu' (I don't know what you'll do, old man, if you're being led by a woman).

Another fan suggested 'Pambana na hali yako' (deal with your situation).
