On October 1, Tottenham Hotspur suffered a humiliating 7-2 defeat at the hands of Bayern Munich in the Champions League. The team's current manager, Jose Mourinho, has now taken steps to prevent his players from reliving that painful memory.

Speaking at his pre-match news conference ahead of the reverse fixture against Bayern Munich, Mourinho revealed that he has forbidden his players from watching any replays of the match. He explained, 'I forbid any image of it.'

Mourinho, who replaced Mauricio Pochettino last month, has watched the match himself, but only to analyze it with his staff and analysts. He emphasized that he did not want the players to be reminded of the defeat, saying, 'There is a certain way that we try to play football and try to develop our principles of play and we’re totally focused on us.'

Both Tottenham Hotspur and Bayern Munich have already secured their places in the knockout rounds, and Mourinho sees this match as an opportunity to assess some of his fringe players. He has left several key players, including Dele Alli, Serge Aurier, Harry Kane, and Jan Vertonghen, at home.
