Akothee's Recovery ¶
Kenyan singer Akothee has been discharged from Karen Hospital after spending 11 days there.
During her stay, Akothee received numerous visits and gifts from fans and well-wishers, which she expressed gratitude for in a series of Instagram posts.
However, Akothee clarified that she was not marketing the hospital, stating that she was simply acknowledging the good service she received.
"No, I am not marketing the hospital if something is good is good. I am just an independent lady, with my shit sorted," Akothee said.
Akothee also praised her insurance company, Resolution KE, for covering her medical expenses, which she estimated to be around KES 316,000 for 5 days.
She encouraged her fans to treat themselves well, saying, "Treat yourself in the manner which you would love the world to treat you," and announced plans to visit Turkana to help those affected by the extreme climatic conditions.
Additionally, Akothee addressed trolls who had been inquiring about her HIV status, saying, "PLEASE IF YOU ARE NOT MY TWA TWA PARTNER WHATS MY HIV STATUS CONCERNS YOU? STOP"
