Published on December 11, 2019, a conversation between Kamene Goro and Andrew Kibe highlighted the astonishing property purchase of a former NHIF secretary.
The secretary, who worked as a receptionist, managed to acquire 8 houses in Athi River between 2013 and 2017, totaling 160 million shillings.
Andrew Kibe suggested that the secretary's financial situation must have been impressive to afford such a significant purchase, joking that Kamene Goro should quit her job and apply for a position at NHIF.
According to Kibe, usually, buying a house is the last thing on people's lists, and by the time they make the decision, they have already amassed other assets.
