December 11, 2019, marked the release of Naiboi's Sondeka Part 3 gospel version, featuring gospel artists. However, the making of the song was not without its challenges.

According to Tony Maluda, one of the gospel artists featured on the song, there were moments when the group almost came to blows. Maluda shared his experience on Facebook, recalling how he was asked to write a verse for the song in just 30 minutes.

Maluda wrote, 'One of my favorite moments 2019 was being featured on the Sondeka joint (blows were almost exchanged on set story for another day) wrote this verse while heading to the studio I wasn’t supposed to be on the song… Was given like 30 minutes to write and submit it but 30 minutes was more than what I needed…. I spazzed on it…'

Maluda claimed that Naiboi had initially planned to do a gospel refix of the original song but was told that the gospel version was almost ready. He was then asked to do a verse, which he did quickly, but had to edit out some parts that mentioned people's names and churches.

Naiboi was reportedly okay with the verse, but 'Mum and Daddy's children' were not pleased with the mention of their home being bashed by Maluda. This led to a dramatic situation, with the group almost coming to blows.
