On December 11, 2019, Chris Martin's concert in Nairobi turned into a nightmare for his fans. As they enjoyed the music, they were robbed by goons hired as security, leaving many to question the effectiveness of the event's security measures.

Chris Martin took to Twitter to acknowledge the incident and express his regret over the safety of his fans. In a heartfelt apology, he stated:

"I'd like to extend my sincerest apologies to those affected by those criminals who targeted my awesome supporters who braved the inclement weather to come, enjoy and sing some #SweetSugahReggae wid mi! Mi vex yf."

Despite the unfortunate incident, Chris Martin seemed to have enjoyed his time in Kenya, as evidenced by his subsequent partying with young women at Club Encore.
