On December 11, 2019, a tragic incident occurred in Boito, Konoin, Bomet County, where an 18-year-old high school student allegedly stabbed her 29-year-old boyfriend to death.
According to eyewitnesses, the couple had a disagreement at the market center where the boyfriend worked as a shoe shiner, with the student accusing him of being unfaithful.
The suspect, in a fit of rage, bought a knife at a nearby shop and used it to kill the man, reportedly stabbing him in the upper part of his neck, killing him instantly.
The man's body was moved to Kapkatet mortuary, and the student is currently detained at Mogogosiek Police Station as investigations continue.
