On a typical day in Nairobi town, a woman's desperate cry for help caught the attention of a passerby. She was standing outside a local bank, strip naked and wailing, saying, 'Wameniibia pesa yangu yote, nisaidie haraka (they have stolen all the cash from me, kindly help)'. The crowd was in a frenzy, and the passerby decided to wait until she could calm down.
After 45 minutes, the woman started to struggle with her empty handbag, searching for the already gone money. The passerby approached her and asked her to recount the events that led to the theft. She explained that two women, who pretended to be friendly, had conned her out of sh. 90,000.
The woman described the two women as one being a stout man and the other wearing a buibui like a Muslim. The passerby then told her about Mugwenu, a traditional healer with vast experience in spinning court cases, punishing thieves, and cushioning homes from spiritual and physical attacks.
Convinced that Mugwenu could help her recover her cash, the woman wrote down his contact number and called him. The next day, the two con women returned to the bank, crying like mad men, and the woman was able to recover her money.
She was called by the bank security to pick up her cash, and the two women were taken to police cells. The woman was grateful to Mugwenu and thanked him for his help.
