Sofapaka's Comeback Victory Over Kisumu All Stars

On Tuesday, December 10, 2019, Sofapaka made a statement in the Kenyan Premier League, defeating Kisumu All Stars 2-1 at Kenyatta Stadium in Machakos.

The match saw Sofapaka take the lead in the 11th minute through Elly Asieche's penalty, awarded after Brian Nyakan was fouled by Kisumu All Stars' defender Jeconia Ogendo.

However, Kisumu All Stars' Wesley Kemboi restored parity in the 37th minute, capitalizing on a rebound after Sofapaka goalkeeper Richard Aimo saved his penalty.

But Sofapaka's Kepha Aswani sealed the win in the 70th minute, securing maximum points for his team.

Sofapaka coach John Baraza expressed his delight at the victory, crediting his team's experience for their success.
