Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has confirmed that Gini Wijnaldum and Dejan Lovren are fit for the Reds' Champions League clash with Red Bull Salzburg on December 10, 2019.
The Reds are in Austria as they look to qualify for the knockout stages of the competition. A point will secure their progression.
Wijnaldum missed the trip with a knock, while Lovren was forced off in the first half of the 3-0 win at Bournemouth on Saturday.
However, Klopp insists both players are available for selection, although Adam Lallana is not expected back in training until the end of the week.
“Gini and Dejan are completely fine. We had pretty much a free choice apart from Adam,” Klopp said.
Adam Lallana is not expected to return to training until Thursday, but Klopp decided not to risk him against Salzburg, opting to leave him at Melwood to train with the team from Thursday onwards.
“He had a proper session today, will have a proper session tomorrow and then Thursday he can be with the team,” Klopp added.
