On December 11, 2019, President Uhuru Kenyatta welcomed visiting Barbados Prime Minister Mia Amor Mottley at State House, Nairobi, as she began her State Visit to Kenya.
Prime Minister Mottley was accorded a full State Reception, followed by private talks with President Kenyatta and a bilateral meeting between Kenyan and Barbadian delegations.
During her visit, Prime Minister Mottley was also President Kenyatta's Special Guest at Jamhuri Day celebrations at Nyayo National Stadium and the State Luncheon at State House Gardens on December 12, 2019.
Earlier, President Kenyatta held separate bilateral talks with Presidents Nana Akufo-Addo (Ghana) and Yoweri Kaguta Museveni (Uganda) on December 10, 2019, on the sidelines of the 9th ACP Summit.
