December 10, 2019, marked a significant day in the world of football as Arsenal continued their search for a new manager. The Gunners had parted ways with Unai Emery following a defeat to Eintracht Frankfurt in the Europa League.

Freddie Ljungburg, Emery's former number two, took charge as interim boss, but the team's performance under him has been underwhelming, with just a single point from their opening two fixtures.

As the search for a permanent replacement continues, several candidates have emerged, including Mauricio Pochettino and Mikel Arteta. Former Arsenal midfielder Patrick Vieira has also been linked to the job, and his recent comments have only fueled speculation.

"You can never ignore a club where you've spent nine years," Vieira told Canal+, in a statement that has sparked interest among Arsenal fans.

Despite his interest in the job, Vieira emphasized his commitment to Nice, where he is currently focused on moving the club forward. "I'm focused on this project at Nice, I feel very good here. It's a very exciting project," he said.

Former Arsenal goalkeeper David Seaman has also expressed his support for Vieira, stating that he would be an ideal candidate for the job due to his strong personality and experience as a manager.
