On a remarkable Sunday, Boniface Muchangi, 27, and Christine Wawira, 26, tied the knot in a ceremony that will be remembered for its uniqueness.
The couple, who met three years ago during a church function, had been dating through text messages for one and a half years before deciding to spend the rest of their lives together.
With the blessing of their church, the couple's union was made official in a ceremony that was attended by a huge crowd.
The ceremony, presided over by a pastor with hearing impairment, was facilitated by an interpreter to ensure that everyone could follow the proceedings.
As a testament to their love and commitment, the couple exchanged vows using sign language, a beautiful display of their dedication to each other.
Through the interpreter, the couple thanked the Deaf Mission Fellowship Church and wellwishers for their support, and also urged Kenyans to help people with disabilities achieve their dreams.
