The Dark Side of the 'Bro Code'

As someone who's had their fair share of dating experiences, I've come to realize that the 'bro code' is a major red flag in any relationship.

For those who may not be familiar, the 'bro code' is a set of unwritten rules that dictate how men should behave towards each other, often at the expense of women's feelings and well-being.

One of the most problematic aspects of the 'bro code' is the idea that men should prioritize their friendships over women's safety and happiness. This means that if a man's friend is being abusive or toxic, he's expected to turn a blind eye and not intervene.

But why should this be the case? If a man's friends are misogynistic or serial cheaters, it's a clear indication of his character and values. It's not something to be taken lightly or ignored.

As a woman, it's essential to pay attention to the company your partner keeps. If his friends are shady or toxic, it's a warning sign that he may not be the best partner for you.

So, to all the men out there, it's time to rethink the 'bro code' and prioritize women's safety and well-being. It's not about being a 'bure' guy or a 'stand-up guy' – it's about being a decent human being.

And to all the women out there, don't settle for a partner who condones or enables toxic behavior. You deserve better.
