Kenya's national soccer team, Harambee Stars, will face Sudan in their second match of the 2019 Cecafa Senior Challenge Cup at the Lugogo Stadium in Kampala, Uganda, on Monday.

However, the team will be without head coach Francis Kimanzi, who has been banned for two matches after allegedly urging his players not to turn up for their opening match against Tanzania.

The match against Tanzania was delayed by 10 minutes as Harambee Stars players failed to walk onto the pitch from the tunnel.

According to reports, Kimanzi was protesting the inclusion of three players who lacked passports in the Taifa Stars squad.

Despite the ban, Kimanzi will make a return to the touchline if Kenya proceeds to the semi-finals of the tournament.

Elsewhere, a two-week Football Kenya federation Instructors Course will be conducted by UEFA Pro Instructor Erich Rutenmoeller of Germany at the Kenya Institute of Special Education.

The course targets Basic/Advanced coaching course and CAF C License instructors who have spearheaded coaching courses that benefited over 2000 trainers countrywide.
