On Sunday evening, a multi-agency rescue team in Embakasi Constituency recovered three more bodies from the collapsed building in Tassia Estate, bringing the death toll to 10.

The recovered bodies included two children and a male adult, while the rescue team also came to the aid of one more survivor, increasing the number of survivors to 36.

The search and rescue efforts, which entered their fourth day, involved the Kenya Defence Forces, the National Disaster Management Unit, and the Kenya Red Cross.

The teams worked tirelessly to sift through the six-storey concrete debris, a daunting task that resulted in the recovery of the three additional bodies.

As the rescue efforts continue, the Kenya Red Cross is providing psycho-social support and tracing services to individuals affected by the building collapse.
