On Monday, December 9, 2019, Airtel Kenya launched a new data bundle offering with no expiry date, providing subscribers with the best value even when their balance is low.
The new provision allows subscribers to purchase call rates with no expiry and browse at KSh 1 for 5MBs of data. Additionally, users can make all network calls for KSh 2 per minute.
Airtel Managing Director Prasanta Sarma hailed the product as the best in the market, saying, "We are pleased to introduce the industry’s best no expiry rates for data and voice to all our customers."
The new offerings are targeted towards customers who are looking to meet their communication needs, according to Sarma.
Prices of bundles valid for 30 days have also been subsidized, with users able to purchase 3GB at KSh 300 (previously 1.5GB), 5GB for KSh 500 (up from 4GB), and 12GB for KSh 1,000 (from 10GB).
Customers can get the new call and data bundles by dialling 5442#.
