Chris Martin's Nairobi Concert Turns into Thug Fest

On Saturday, December 7, Jamaican dancehall star Chris Martin wowed his fans at the Impala Grounds with his performance at the Big Deal concert in Nairobi.

However, the beautiful event turned into a thug fest on the morning of Sunday, December 8, as fans complained of how they were robbed during the concert.

The security apparatus at the event was minimal, leading to a nice habitat for thieves. Many fans had their phones snatched and disappeared into darkness.

According to fans who attended the show, the hot property on-site were phones, which many would hang up to record events at the concert, only for muggers to attack and snatch.

Chris Martin's concert was initially scheduled to take place at a different venue due to unpredictable weather, but it was later changed to the Impala Grounds.

Here are some of the feedback from fans who attended the show:

  • "I was robbed during the concert. The security was minimal, and it was easy for thieves to operate," said one fan.
  • "I was recording the event, and suddenly, my phone was snatched. It was a thug fest," said another fan.
