Published on December 9, 2019, Emmanuel Bor from Nandi County and Milliam Nakitar from Embu secured the top spots in the South Imenti 15km Road Race.
The winners each received Sh100,000, while the second-placed runners earned Sh50,000 and third-place finishers received Sh25,000.
The event attracted over 700 runners, with Bor, who trains in Kapsabet, emerging victorious in 48.32 minutes. He credited his determination for pushing through the challenging hilly course.
Bor, who had previously finished second in the same event last year, also mentioned his recent win in a 10km race in Shanghai, China in September.
