December 8, 2019, was a night to remember in Nairobi, with American hiphop artiste T.I and Jamaican music sensation Chris Martin bringing the house down at their respective concerts. However, in Nakuru town, a different story was unfolding.

The 'Flow Na Chrome' party at the NAC Grounds had started smoothly, with some of the country's hottest artistes, including Ethic Entertainment, Sailors, and Boondocks Gang, taking to the stage. Veteran JuaCali was also in attendance.

But as the night wore on, things took a turn for the worse. According to a social media post from one of the attendees, the young revellers (most under 22 years of age) got drunk and became rowdy, hurling bottles on stage and at the artistes' tent.

One person was reportedly stabbed by a broken bottle during the commotion. The attendee partly blames the pricing of tickets for the mess.
