Published on December 8, 2019, Gor Mahia coach Steven Polack is facing a tough decision regarding his future with the club due to the ongoing financial constraints and unpaid salaries.

Polack, who has been at the helm of the reigning Kenya Premier League champions, has expressed his frustrations over the delayed salaries for the last four months, affecting not only the players but also his family.

"Things are continuing to be tough not only to the players but also for me. I'm the sole breadwinner for my family back at home and I have to pay for their house and take care of them. I will have to make a decision in a few days on the way forward," said Polack.

Despite his concerns, Polack remains hopeful that the club management will salvage the situation and urged the players to train at home to stay physically fit.

The current situation has affected the team's preparations and performance in matches, with Gor Mahia currently topping the table with 24 points but having three matches in hand.
