On December 7, 2019, Spanish champions Barcelona continued their impressive performance in La Liga by beating visiting Mallorca 5-2 at the Camp Nou.

Barcelona started the match strongly, scoring the first goal in just seven minutes through Antoine Griezmann, who was assisted by Marc Stegen.

Argentina international Lionel Messi scored the second goal in the 17th minute after receiving an assist from France international Antoine Griezmann.

However, Mallorca pulled one back in the 35th minute through Ante Budimir, who got an assist from Salva Sevilla.

Messi increased the scoreline for Barcelona in the 41st minute, with Ivan Rakitic providing the assist.

Two minutes later, Luis Suarez found the back of the net after benefiting from a superb pass by Freddy De Jong.

Ante Budimir scored another goal for Mallorca in the 64th minute, but Messi's late-minute goal ensured Barcelona won the match 5-2.
