December 7, 2019, marked a dominant performance by Tottenham Hotspur as they thrashed Burnley 5-0 in a Premier League match.
Harry Kane's unstoppable shot from the edge of the area in the fifth minute set the tone for the match, with Lucas Moura doubling the advantage just four minutes later.
Son Heung-min's sensational solo goal in the 32nd minute showcased his exceptional skills, and he made no mistake as he confidently stroked the ball home.
Early in the second half, Kane exploited more bad Burnley defending, scoring his eighth goal in nine games against Burnley.
The match ended with a team effort as Tottenham sliced open the hapless Burnley defence before Moussa Sissoko's controlled finish completed the rout.
Spurs manager Jose Mourinho described the match as 'a perfect day', comparing Son's strike with one by Ronaldo Nazario for Barcelona.
"I remember when I was at Barcelona with Mr (Bobby) Robson and Ronaldo Nazario scored a goal that is similar to Son's," Mourinho said.
"And this was an amazing goal. I know that he is going to reach the face of the keeper and the control he is unstoppable. The keeper is good, though, but he managed to put it in."
