December 7, 2019, marked a significant day for Tottenham Hotspur as they secured a 5-0 win over Burnley in the Premier League.
Harry Kane was the star of the show, scoring twice in the match. He was not alone, however, as Son Heung-min, Lucas Moura, and Moussa Sissoko all found the back of the net to seal the win for Spurs.
The victory propelled Tottenham to fifth position on the table, just two points behind Chelsea who occupy the fourth spot.
Spurs' win came after a disappointing 2-1 loss to Manchester United in their previous match, but they were quick to put that defeat behind them.
The match got off to a great start for Tottenham as Harry Kane scored just five minutes in, connecting with a superb pass from Son Heung-min.
Four minutes later, Lucas Moura tapped in his side's second goal in the ninth minute following a goal-mouth scramble in the visitors' danger zone.
With two goals already in the bag, Tottenham continued to mount pressure on their guests, and their efforts paid off again when Son Heung-min made a solo run from his club's half and beautifully put the ball in the net.
Harry Kane completed his brace in the game nine minutes into the second half, dribbling past two defenders before aiming a shot at Nick Pope, who had no way of saving the ball.
Moussa Sissoko got a chance to get on the scoresheet with a low but superb finish in the 74th minute, set up by Harry Kane who released a precise pass before his teammate sent the ball beyond the cross line.
