December 7, 2019, marked a special day for Cheyenne Woods, the niece of golf legend Tiger Woods, as she embarked on a culinary adventure in Kenya. The European Ladies Tour golfer took time off the golf course to sample Kenyan tourism cuisine.
Arguably the most popular name among Kenyan fans following the Magical Kenya Ladies Open at the Vipingo Ridges in Kwale County, Cheyenne has fallen in love with Kenya's scenery and warm hospitality. Her love for the country is evident in her words, 'It is beautiful here. The beach is amazing and the people have been so welcoming. It’s been a really good trip so far.'
Despite not doing well at the final leg of the European Ladies Tour, Cheyenne is enjoying her maiden trip to the East African country. She has been visiting local schools and beaches, mingling with the hospitable locals. Her itinerary includes a visit to the Amboseli National Park for her first Safari in East Africa on Monday.
Kenya is hosting the Ladies European Tour event for the first time, attracting 120 top female golfers from across the globe. Cheyenne's experience in Kenya is a testament to the country's beauty and hospitality.
