The video, shared by the Hegang police, shows the wife struggling to stand with a bulging tummy as she waited outside a consultation room. Despite being surrounded by people in the waiting room, none offered her their seat, leaving her to suffer in discomfort.
However, her husband, who could be seen in the background, took matters into his own hands. He bent down and gestured for his wife to lean against him, effectively turning himself into a human chair. He also offered her a water bottle to quench her thirst.
The video, which has been liked over seven million times, was posted onto the Hegang police's official account with a caption criticizing the onlookers who refused to give up their seats. The police described the scene as 'indifference.'
