Tusker Pile More Woes on Sharks as Bandari Hit Wazito at Mbaraki

Published on December 7, 2019, Tusker FC's victory over Kariobangi Sharks in the Kenya Premier League has left the Sharks stuck in the relegation zone.

On Saturday, October 2, 2019, Tusker FC's Luke Namanda scored a second-half brace to help his team rally from behind and beat Kariobangi Sharks 3-1 at Kasarani Stadium.

The victory saw Tusker narrow the gap on league leaders Gor Mahia to just one point, while Sharks remained stuck in the relegation zone.

Former Gor Mahia striker George Odhiambo drew level for Tusker in the 70th minute, before Namanda scored the winner three minutes to stoppage time.

Meanwhile, in Mombasa, Bandari ended their six-game winless run in the domestic league with a 4-1 thrashing of Wazito at Mbaraki Stadium.

Shaban Kenga scored a brace in the 27th and 80th minutes, with David Owino scoring an own goal and Yuma Mwana scoring the fourth goal for the hosts.

Wazito's consolation goal was scored by Siraj Mohammed, who scored an own goal.
