Brendan Rodgers Commits to Leicester City Until 2025

Leicester City manager Brendan Rodgers has signed a new long-term deal with the club, committing to stay until 2025. The 46-year-old manager has been impressive since taking over in February 2019, leading the team to a second-place position on the Premier League table.

According to a statement from Leicester City, Rodgers has signed a new deal that will keep him at the club until the summer of 2025. This news comes as a blow to Arsenal, who had been interested in hiring Rodgers as their new manager following the departure of Unai Emery.

Under Rodgers' leadership, Leicester City has experienced a remarkable turnaround, winning 17 of 26 Premier League matches since his appointment. The team is currently on a seven-match winning streak, equaling a 56-year-old record.

When asked about his new deal, Rodgers expressed his excitement about the direction the club was taking and his commitment to helping the team build for the future. He also thanked the club's supporters for their warm reception and pledged to continue working together to bring success to Leicester City.

Leicester City will look to continue their winning streak when they visit Villa Park to face Aston Villa in their next matchday encounter.
