One of her followers' wives has threatened to leave him, citing Akothee's lifestyle as an inspiration.

"I just found myself here.through the struggles of life,i escaped death 3 times," Akothee revealed in a post.
She went on to share her struggles, including escaping death three times, and the stigma she faces as a single parent.
"The stigma upon single parenting is real, sabotage and rejection," Akothee said.
She also warned the wife of her follower that what worked for her may not work for her, and that she should be careful what she wishes for.
"Let her organize her home and try to make it there,but If you are also giving her too much rubbish, then I can’t tell her to leave,I will just tell her “when she leaves, she should get ready for all the taka taka’s of all kinds before she sees some light?♂️?♂️?♂️, it’s all messed up kwa ground," Akothee said.
