Kenya's Shujaa team struggled to find their footing in the Dubai Sevens, suffering their second loss in as many matches on December 6, 2019. The team went down 12-5 to England in their second Pool D match at the Sevens Stadium.

England took an early lead, capitalizing on Kenya's poor start to take a 7-0 advantage at halftime. Lindsay-Hague's try, converted by Emery, proved to be a decisive blow for the Kenyan team.

Nelson Oyoo's late try was not enough to inspire a comeback for Shujaa, who are now out of contention for the Main Cup following South Africa's 35-5 win over Spain. Kenya will face Spain in their next match on Friday at 6:32 pm.
