On a recent episode of The Morning Kiss, Kamene and Kibe sparked a heated debate about whether women should give their boyfriends 'husband privileges.'
Published on December 6, 2019, the conversation started with Andrew Kibe asking Kamene if she would wash a man's dirty shoes and house when she visits him. Kamene responded firmly, stating that women should never give boyfriend or any random man husband privileges, as this can lead to heartbreak when they realize he is not serious about a future together.
'When we have different visions because this woman wants a future with you yet you have no intention to be my husband. We can not be giving every man husband privileges because then what do we have left for the right man?' Kamene said.
Kibe disagreed, suggesting that women should come to a man's house and leave it better than they found it in terms of cleanliness, as a way to prove themselves as potential wives. He also shared a real-life scenario, asking if women who sit with men in the living room, engaging in discussions, should instead be in the kitchen cooking and cleaning.
Most callers who participated in the discussion agreed with Kamene, stating that women should not be expected to impress men who are not reciprocating in any way. One caller even suggested that if a man is measuring a woman's standards by washing utensils, he should be willing to show her his payslip to prove he is a provider.
However, Kibe took a surprising turn by telling a caller live on air to leave his house after she asked him to show her his payslip. 'You're making noise in my house? Leave my house now!' he said.
