Published on December 6, 2019, a man from Thika town shares a shocking story of how he discovered his wife's infidelity.
He had returned from a business trip in Uganda and passed by his wife's boutique shop in Kahawa Sukari junction, where she also lived. However, when he arrived at around 12AM, he was met with a surprise - a male voice telling her to hurry up, and she responding with a defensive tone.
Despite his initial hesitation, he decided to investigate further and installed secret CCTV cameras in both her shop and their sleeping room. Two weeks later, he reviewed the footage and was shocked to discover that his wife had been changing men almost every day.
One of the notable clips showed her receiving money from a man after a night of intimacy, with the man telling her that he would return on Friday and that it would be a 'kavu kavu' (dry) day without a CD. She nodded in agreement.
Confronted with the evidence, his wife denied any wrongdoing, but the husband was determined to take action. He sought the help of Dr. Mugwenu, a traditional witchdoctor from Tanzania, who promised to make the adulterous couple get stuck during sex.
Dr. Mugwenu gave him a 'kamti' (a charm) to hang in a hidden corner of her room and shop. Two days later, the husband saw a news report on a matatu screen about a man and a woman who had gotten stuck in a room while having sex. The woman was later identified as his wife, and the man was forced to compensate him with sh 350,000 to free him.
