December 5, 2019, marked a day of controversy in the spiritual realm as Stephen Thuranira, a 39-year-old man from Eldoret, made a shocking claim that God has directed him to replace Prophet David Owuor.
Thuranira, the founder of Wake-up Ministry based in Huruma slum, near Eldoret town, insisted that it is time for Prophet Owuor to step down and pave the way for him to deliver the end-time message to Kenyans.
According to Thuranira, God has spoken to him, instructing him to relieve Prophet Owuor, who has done a good job, and allow him to deliver the timely message to Kenyans.
Thuranira's message to Kenyans is centered around addressing the floods that have been wreaking havoc in the country, which he claims the Lord has sent him to address after Kenyans failed to listen to Prophet Owuor.
However, Prophet Owuor's followers have termed Thuranira's views as false and ungodly.
Prophet Owuor, also known as 'Mighty,' has managed to build a huge following, preaching repentance and the second coming of Christ.
