On December 5, 2019, ABC Bank was announced as the winner in the Finance and Investment Category in the Champions of Governance Awards 2019, organized by the Institute of Certified Secretaries.
The Champions of Governance Awards, which started in 2010, aim to promote good governance practices by recognizing organizations that adhere to high standards of corporate governance.
ABC Bank was recognized for its commitment to enforcing ethical leadership and corporate citizenship in all its interactions with customers, stakeholders, and regulators.
According to Group MD Shamaz Savani, "This recognition is a result of our deliberate and consistent efforts to enforce ethical leadership and corporate citizenship in all our interactions with customers, stakeholders, and our regulators."
The bank's commitment to good corporate governance has also been recognized in other areas, including being among the best banks in customer satisfaction in the Think Business Banking Survey 2019 published by Banktrak.
