Although the marriage was initially kept under wraps, photos of the event soon surfaced, and Queen Darleen decided to share them with the public.
What might come as a surprise to many is that Queen Darleen is not Diamond's first wife. In fact, she is his second wife, and she has revealed that she knew about his first wife before their marriage.
According to Queen Darleen, her husband's first wife is aware of her existence, but she has never met her. She explained that her husband has never taken her to his home or introduced her to his first wife.
When asked about her feelings on being a second wife, Queen Darleen stated, 'He is a Muslim man so even if I was the fourth wife it is okay. We had already agreed to this and there is no problem.'
She also revealed that she does not feel hurt about being a second wife, saying, 'It does not hurt because I knew this from the get-go. From the time we were dating to now. I knew he had a wife so why would it hurt me now that we are a sacred couple?'
Queen Darleen's situation has sparked comparisons to that of Ruth Matete, who was left by her husband after he married another woman.
As for Queen Darleen's husband, his face has been kept hidden from the public eye, but Tanzanian blogs are rumored to have revealed his identity.
