Kenyan socialite Akothee has been at the center of a heated debate after she shared a photo of her mansion, claiming it was left behind by her mzungu ex.
The photo was shared days after Akothee was released from the hospital where she had been admitted for days.
However, one fan was quick to point out that Akothee should stop lying and take credit for building the house.
‘Hiyo nyumba hujajenga wewe. End of the story uliachiwa na mzungu.’
Another fan came to Akothee's defense, stating that it didn't matter who built the house, the owner of the title is the one who matters.
‘Does it matter? The owner of the title is the msema kweli. Ata ka aliachiwa Bora iko kwa jina yake?’
Some Kenyans have come to Akothee's defence, with one fan stating that many women live in houses built by men and it's not news.
‘At this time it belongs to her. Many women live in houses built by men. Its not news. After all the man was building for his son. Whats wrong with that? If you may give Akothee some peace while she is unwell.’
