Published on December 5, 2019, Justin Beiber has made a long-overdue apology for his past use of the racial slur 'nigger'. The apology comes after a video surfaced of him singing a song with the derogatory term.

According to reports, the video was brought to light by TMZ, and it has sparked widespread criticism of Beiber's actions. In his apology, Beiber acknowledged that he was 'uneducated' and 'found himself saying really hurtful things' when he was younger.

Beiber took to his Instagram account to share a photo with a caption that read: 'When I was young, I was uneducated and found myself saying really hurtful things not knowing the power of my words. Racism is still very prevalent and I want to use my voice to remind we are all human beings and all of EQUAL VALUE BEFORE GOD!'

While some may view this apology as a step in the right direction, others may be skeptical given Beiber's past behavior.
