Kenyan singer Akothee has been ordered to rest for two weeks after collapsing on stage at the Luo Fest in Kisumu on December 1, 2019.
However, just two days into her bedrest, Akothee was back on her feet, tending to her farm in Rongo, despite experiencing a persistent headache.
Her doctor has recommended that she undergoes an MRI scan to determine the cause of her headache.
On her Instagram page, Akothee joked that she might need 'horizontal refreshments', a popular Kenyan slang term for 'Twa Twa', a type of beer.
“You do know I can’t stay in bed, I took a walk to the farm, to ignore the headache. Sh this head is bursting, doctor recommends I do an MRI?????, nini imeingia kwa kichwa?♂️?♂️ Maybe I need a real Twa Twa AMA?”
