Kenyan musician Akothee has made a dramatic return to social media after being rushed to the hospital during a performance at the Luo Night Festival.
According to reports, Akothee was taken to Nairobi Hospital where it was discovered that she had a severe headache and was experiencing pain in her body.
However, after receiving treatment, Akothee was discharged from the hospital and returned to her performance, much to the relief of her fans.
"I know I can't win, I've been sleeping on the ground, walking in the village every day to ignore the headaches," Akothee said in a statement.
It's not clear what caused Akothee's condition, but she has been open about her struggles with headaches and body pain in the past.
