Ruth Matete, the Tusker Project Fame 5 winner, has showered her father with praise for his unwavering dedication to raising her.
On November 23, Ruth tied the knot with her spiritual partner, Pastor John Apewajoye, in a private ceremony attended by close family and friends.
As she exchanged vows, Ruth took to her Instagram page to express her gratitude to her father, Abel Amunga, for his selfless love and care.
"You are my hero, I have been waiting for this day for so long, and this is it, thank you for taking up the responsibility of being a father, I am so grateful," Ruth said in a heartfelt message.
Ruth also used the opportunity to reveal that her parents were high school sweethearts, and that her mother passed away when she was just eight years old.
"My mother passed away when I was eight years old, I don't remember much, but I miss her so much, Dad has been my everything, my mentor, my teacher, and everything to me," Ruth added.
