Uganda's President Yoweri Museveni has made a startling claim, linking obesity among leaders to corruption.
According to Museveni, who has been in power for over three decades, obesity is a clear sign of corruption.
He made the remarks in a tweet, stating that he has decided to lose weight, going from 106 kilograms to 76 kilograms, and believes that obesity is a sign of corruption.
"I have decided to lose weight, I was 106 kilograms but now I am 76 kilograms, I believe that obesity is a sign of corruption," Museveni tweeted.
Museveni also claimed that his wealth is a result of his hard work, but that some of his government officials are corrupt, but he lacks evidence to take action.
He vowed to ensure that his government tackles corruption and provides better services to the people.
